Luca Albernaz, OD

Dr. Albernaz is an optometrist at Specs Appeal, serving patients in and around St. George, Utah.

Dr. Albernaz earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Brigham Young University, Idaho, in Rexburg, Idaho. He received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, Texas.

While at the university, Dr. Albernaz’s training included an internship at Sharp eye consultants in San Antonio, Texas, and Community Eye Care in Fort Worth, Texas, where he developed a love for treating ocular disease.

From his experience and education, Dr. Albernaz has become skilled in completing comprehensive eye exams, refractive surgery evaluation, and medical management of ocular disease.

Dr. Albernaz enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. His hobbies include biking, hiking, and eating a good steak. He is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Jed Lister, OD

Dr. Lister is an optometrist at Specs Appeal, serving patients in and around St. George, Utah.

Dr. Lister earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology locally at Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah. He received his Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon.

After graduation, Dr. Lister spent 5 years in Farmington, NM, at Skyview Eyecare where he not only developed his love for vision care but also for green chilies (it goes great on everything).

From his experience and education, Dr. Lister has become skilled in completing comprehensive eye exams, refractive surgery evaluation, and medical management of ocular disease.

When he is not staring into your eyes, Dr. Lister enjoys free time with his wife. His hobbies include hiking, fishing, four-wheeling, and birdwatching.
